In fact, while the queen mattress is quite popular in the US, Canada and Australia, it is not an option in the UK.

In Australia, the Queen mattress is typically 60 inches wide and 80 inches long. That’s equivalent to 5 by 6.6 feet if you’re measuring in feet or 152 by 203.5 cm if you prefer to use the metric system.
This standard bed size provides sufficient room for couples or individuals who need as much space as possible to spread out while sleeping. How Does The Australian Queen Mattress Compare To The Us And Canadian Queen Bed?
