When you walk into a house whether it is a family home, friends home or an open house at an inspection your first natural instinctual impression begins with opening up your senses. 

The sense of sight is the primary force to ones life in the home and in everyday life although lately due to the rising businesses via mobile candle making, scented oils, healing oils for your belongings and self has naturally dominated the western culture over the last 10 years. Grasping a sense to what scent is healing and reflective of your persona is something that has become a common trend. 

Here are some basics into aromatherapy for the home: 

Lavender - lavender has been proven to naturally sooth ones nervous system and prevent anxiety. Add some lavender oil around your bedroom to enhance a relaxing sleep

Peppermint - peppermint has been known to enhance mental sharpness and gain additional clarity in thought. Add the scent of peppermint around the kitchen & office. Peppermint is a natural antibacterial agent and can be used as a cleaning tool for bathrooms or kitchens. 

Eucalyptus - eucalyptus is a natural antibacterial product and naturally repels ticks and fleas. Along with tea tree oil ; For a pet filled home, sprinkle some eucalyptus or tea tree in your next mopping session to naturally kill and repel fleas, ticks, bacteria around the bathroom and toilet and any household germ filled areas such as door knobs, floors, sinks, toilets etc. The scent leaves your house fresh, clean and inviting. 

Rose - rose is naturally inviting and warming for house guests, families and events. Rose can be lightly sprinkled and spritzed around the living area or dining area to enhance any ones comfortability. The freshness and light floral sweetness naturally touches ones softness and playful side.
