SO MANY THINGS TO KEEP YOU ENTERTAINED...

Sail the boat between islands and brush up on your sailing skills

Rock yourself to sleep in the sun or chill out with a book in one of our two hammocks

Get some exercise and go exploring on one of our paddle boards

Take a trip into the beach for picnics or sundowners on the dinghy

Go bush-walking and explore the local islands

Snorkel amongst the coral and fish of the Great Barrier Reef

Learn to sail or improve your sailing or boat handling skills (tutorials available)


LARGE BOAT…..INTIMATE PRIVATE GROUPS... 

58 foot sailing yacht with only four guests on board. (Sleeps up to six guests on request - one night only)

Large awning covering cockpits and foredeck so you won't get burnt in the sun or wet in the rain.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

Private aft cabin (double) with sofa, ensuite with shower and separate entrance to deck.

2 x Twin cabins with shared ensuite with shower.

Fans are installed in all cabins.

Please note that as bunks are on board a sailing yacht they are slightly narrower than beds you may be used to on land but are no less comfortable. The double bunk in the aft cabin is a fully sprung mattress.

 

GOT KIDS WHO NEED AMUSING...IT’S EASIER ON A SAILBOAT....They'll be:

Pulling ropes while sailing with some basic sailing tuition

Steering the boat (under supervision!)

Helping anchor the boat with some hand signals to the skipper

Swimming, snorkelling and paddle-boarding

Exploring on the remote beaches


WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR SAILING SKILLS?

We encourage you to get involved as we sail between places, pulling ropes, steering etc although it's not essential. If you want to increase your knowledge, Paul is a qualified RYA Instructor and Diesel Mechanic and loves to share his skills. We have many short tutorials we can incorporate into your holiday depending on your experience or interest including knots, sail trim or helming, sailing concepts, navigation etc

 

CATERING & BEVERAGES:

All meals are freshly prepared on board with the finest ingredients and where possible sourced from local markets. 

Special dietary needs and children can be catered for if notified at time of booking.  

Breakfast, lunch & dinner, snacks and soft drinks are included.  BYO alcohol.

 

SAMPLE MENU

Breakfast:  Freshly squeezed juices, tea and coffee.  Eggs (as you prefer) bacon and sourdough toast or fresh fruit and muesli or toast and jams

Lunch:  Ploughmans platter or seafood platter

Canapés:  Antipasto platter with baba ganoush and grilled halloumi

Dinner: BBQ'd lamb cutlets with kipfler potatoes, baby spinach salad with roasted pumpkin, feta and pine nuts followed by home made creme caramel


INDICATIVE ITINERARY

Day 1:

Board Pilgrim, stow your gear then have a briefing on safety, boat features and plan the itinerary for the trip.

Depart marina

Sail to anchor spot (approximately 2 hours - depending on departure point and weather)
Drop anchor and settle in for sundowners and canapés followed by BBQ dinner on deck

 

Day 2: 

Wake up and go for a morning swim or paddle board while breakfast is prepared.  

Enjoy breakfast on deck and plan the day’s activities

Try your hand at steering the boat or pulling ropes as we sail to next location (approximately 2-3 hours depending on itinerary)

Enjoy a ploughman’s lunch or a seafood platter

Activities (sailing, swimming, paddle-boarding, exploring...) or chill out time on hammocks

Dinghy to the beach for sundowners BBQ on board


Depending on length of trip will determine next day’s itinerary.
